Eurasier Rescue

One important part of the United States Eurasier Club's mission is to provide rescue services for Eurasiers in need. Our goal is to ensure that no dog known to be a Eurasier in the United States ends up in a shelter, or in an abusive or unhealthy environment.

At this time, we are happy to report that we are not aware of any Eurasiers in need of rescue. However, if you are aware of a Eurasier that needs rescue services, please let us know so that we can help.

The USEC works in coordination with the Eurasier Club of Canada (ECC) to provide rescue services to Eurasiers who are in need of a new home or rescue from a shelter. The Eurasier Rescue point of contact in the United States is Jackie Murtha. She can be reached at rescue-us@useurasierclub.org The point of contact for Canada is Dianne Cameron, who can be reached at rescue-ca@useurasierclub.org

Success Stories

Indy, the Eurasier formerly known as Trevor, has found his forever-home.

As we announced earlier, Indy was placed in a shelter in Maryland on October 2, 2006. Indy has since joined Dietlinde and Gary Wall with their Eurasiers Sam and Chai at his new home in Calgary, Alberta.

Trevor

The USEC and ECC would like to thank all of the persons who assisted in Indy's rescue, and to give a very special note of gratitude and appreciation to all of those who offered to add him to their families. It is a rare occasion when a rescue organization is lucky enough to receive offers from five wonderful families willing to open up their hearts and homes to a dog in need. You are all very, very special, indeed.
